Hand in Hand for Economic empowerment and Entrepreneurship

On 2021 HiH draw a beautiful success story in Natheef Camp.

The Empowering Artisan Skills and Community Development project is a collaboration between HiH and private companies, which helped revitalize the workshop of skilled mosaic artisan Ala'a Al-Hajjah. Despite facing economic challenges, and was in process to close his workshop Ala'a was able to turn his financial crisis into a new opportunity, thanks to the support of HiH and its stake holders from the private companies.(we secured sales for Alaa for Euro Insurance company, Nafith International logistics and Kayan law)

With his wife's innovative designs and the contributions of local workers, especially talented women skilled in coloring stone pieces, the partnership breathed new life into his business. Ala'a is now an esteemed handicraft trainer for Hand By Hand, contributing to the heritage of artisanal skills.
